Follow these instruction to turn on the ribbon save option for a Novexx XXtreme Printer:

When the printer is on,

novexx ribbon save 1

Hit “ENTER” and the printer goes to “OFF”

Hit “FEED” and CUT” together and the printer display will change to “INFO”

Hit the “CUT” button three times until the display reads “SYSP”

Hit “ENTER” and the display will read “EMUL” novexx ribbon save 6
Hit the “CUT” button four times until the display reads “FMOD” novexx ribbon save 7
Hit “ENTER” and the display will show “CONT” novexx ribbon save 8
Hit the “CUT” button and the display will show “SAVE” novexx ribbon save

Hit “ENTER” and the display will show “LEHU”

 novexx ribbon save

Hit the “CUT” button until the display shows “LEHD”

 novexx ribbon save

Hit “ENTER” and the display will show “SAVE”

 novexx ribbon save
Hit the “FEED” and “CUT” buttons together until the display reads “OFF” novexx ribbon save

Hit the “ENTER” button to put the printer back to “ON”
